Rocket science is just that: science. Repeatable, logical science. :-)

Thanks for mentioning this book. Over a long enough period of time, it makes no sense for lenders to be able to earn more than builders. If builders can't make money, then they will stop borrowing from lenders. If builders don't make good enough returns then they won't have the money to pay back lenders. This relationship between lender returns (B) and builder returns (S) means that they are not just uncorrelated random variables.

We can have S<B for a decade, but it seems very unlikely to persist for a generation. As for S<<B, this seems unlikely for even a decade.Michael Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10362529610470788243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465015914589377788.post-78792139221700254702010-12-23T08:53:20.726-05:002010-12-23T08:53:20.726-05:00Michael,
Regarding S>B>C
This is something...Michael,

Regarding S>B>C

This is something I have been considering for years and this is a good time to mention it.

We all know the historical record. However, each of us has one life, one old age, one chance to accumulate money over a lifetime.

Statistics are great and I approve of making the high probability bet that S will indeed be best.

But what are people supposed to do when it's their turn to retire and use the accumulated funds - and this is the era over which S<<B?

RegardsMarkWolfingerhttp://blog.mdwoptions.comnoreply@blogger.com
